Ingredients

Tapioca Starch, Non Fat Milk Solids, Raising Agents (575, Sodium Bicarbonate), Vegetable Gums (412,415,464), Whey Powder, Soy Flour, Emulsifiers (Soy Lecithin, 471,472b,481), Whey Protein, Vegetable Oil, Glucose Syrup Solids (From Maize), Sugar, Salt.

Made on equipment that also processes Egg, Milk, Peanuts and Tree Nuts.


Bread Mix directions

  • You will need:
  • 1 BASCO Bread Mix (375g)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup (250ml) Water
  • Electric Mixer
  • 22cm x 11cm Loaf Pan
  • 1. Preheat gas or electric oven to 200ºC (390ºF). Grease a 22x11cm (8½ "x 4½ ") loaf pan.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl place Bread Mix, 1 cup (250mL) water and 1egg. Mix on low speed for approximately 30 seconds, or until ingredients are combined, scrape down sides of bowl.
  • 3. Mix ingredients on medium speed for 4 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl occasionally.
  • 4. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top surface. Cover loosely with greased foil. Note: This will be removed for the second part of baking.
  • 5. Bake for 20 minutes in a gas oven OR for 25 minutes in an electric oven.
  • 6. Carefully remove foil and bake for a further 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 7. Remove loaf from pan immediately and allow to cool.
