Ingredients

Macaroni (80%) [Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Tapioca Starch, Maize Flour, Soy Flour Defatted, Vegetable Gum (402)], Cheese Powder (5%) [Milk Solids, Maltodextrin (From Maize), Cheese (10%) (Milk, Salt, Starter Culture, Enzymes), Salt, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein, Food Acid (Citric)], Maize Starch, Whey powder (From Milk), Non Fat Milk Solids, Salt, Mineral Salt (450), Natural Flavour (Contains Milk), Dextrin (From Maize), Soy Sauce Powder, Salt, Yeast Extract, Natural Colour (Annatto), Anti-Caking Agent (460), Vegetable Gum (466), Pepper.

Made on equipment that also processes Egg, Milk, Peanuts and Tree Nuts.


Macaroni & Cheese

Stovetop directions

  • You will need:
  • BASCO Macaroni & Cheese Pasta & Sauce Mix
  • 2 Tbsps (40g) Margarine or Butter
  • ½ Cup (125mL) Milk
  • 1¼ Cups (310mL) Water
  • 1. Place in a medium saucepan the 2 Tbsps margarine, ½ cup milk and 1¼ cups water and bring to the boil.
  • 2. Once boiling, add BASCO Macaroni & Cheese packet to the saucepan, stirring constantly.
  • 3. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Sauce will thicken on standing.

    • Microwave directions

  • (Important Note: microwave cooking times are based on a 1000W Microwave and are a guide only):
    • 1. Place 1¼ cups hot water, ½ cup milk and 2 Tbsps margarine or butter into a microwave safe bowl.
    • 2. Add BASCO Macaroni & Cheese packet into a microwave safe bowl, and stir. Cook uncovered on HIGH for 6 minutes, stirring 2-3 times to prevent sticking.
    • 3. Allow to stand for 3 minutes. Sauce will thicken on standing.
