Ingredients

Potato Starch [Preservative (220)], Salt, Dried Onion, Tapioca Starch, Dextrin (From Maize), Sugar, Carrot Powder, Celery Powder, Chicken Extract, White Wine, Yeast Extract, Vegetable Oil (Canola, Rice), Natural Flavours (Contains Milk, Egg), Colour [Caramel (150d)], Soy Sauce Powder, Yeast Extract, Flavour Enhancer (635), Spices, Parsley.

Made on equipment that also processes Egg, Milk, Peanuts and Tree Nuts.


Apricot Chicken directions

  • You will need:
  • BASCO Apricot Chicken Mix
  • 1 Tbsp (20mL) Vegetable Oil
  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks or 500g Chicken Breast, cut into pieces.
  • 1 Medium Onion, sliced
  • 400mL Apricot Nectar
  • 425g Apricot Halves
  • ½ Cup (125mL) Water
  • 1. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large saucepan. Place 500g of chicken pieces in saucepan, and cook until both sides of chicken pieces are brown.
  • 2. Add one sliced onion, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 3. Combine 400mL apricot nectar, ½ cup water and BASCO Apricot Chicken Mix in a jug and stir with a fork. Add to saucepan, and bring to boil, while stirring constantly.
  • 4. Cover saucepan, and simmer for 25 minutes, add the apricot halves and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked, stirring occasionally. Serve with rice.
