Ingredients

Potato Starch [Preservative (220)], Whey Powder (From Milk), Non Fat Milk Solids, Dried Onion, Sugar, Salt, Tapioca Starch, Beverage Whitener [Glucose Syrup Solids (From Tapioca), Vegetable Oil, Sodium Caseinate (From Milk), Mineral Salts (340, 451, 452), Emulsifiers (471, 481, Soy Lecithin), Anti-Caking Agent (551), Flavour], Mushroom powder, Yeast Extract, Natural Flavours (Contains Milk), Spices, Vegetable Oil (Canola), Dextrin (From Maize), Soy Sauce Powder, Flavour Enhancer (635), Pepper, Colour [Caramel (150d)], Parsley.

Beef Stroganoff directions

  • You will need:
  • BASCO Beef Stroganoff Mix
  • 1 Tbsp (20mL) Vegetable Oil
  • 500g Lean Beef, cut into strips
  • 1 Medium Onion, sliced
  • 1½ Cups (150g) Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1¼ Cups (310mL) Water
  • 2 Tbsps (40g) Sour Cream
  • 1. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large saucepan. Place 500g of beef strips in saucepan, and cook until just brown.
  • 2. Add one sliced onion, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 3. Combine 1 ¼ cups water and BASCO Beef Stroganoff mix in a jug and stir with a fork. Add 125g of mushrooms and the combined mix to saucepan, and bring to boil, while stirring constantly.
  • 4. Cover saucepan, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the meat is cooked, stirring occasionally.
  • 5. Remove from heat and stir through 40g sour cream immediately before serving.
